Moro Mangal Pop-Up

On Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd June, the team behind Casa Moro, the new catering arm of Moro and Morito will host their first pop-up in Hackney Wick: Moro Mangal.

The team will serve a three course Mediterranean feast cooked over an open fire. On arrival, guests will enjoy an aperitivo on the outdoor terrace overlooking the River Lea and Olympic Park whilst food is prepared on the Mangal barbecue and charcoal doner. Guests will then be seated indoors for an intimate feast prepared by Sam and Sam Clark and Marianna Leivaditaki.

Aperitivo of pink grapefruit, raki and sage syrup or rebujito (fino, mint & lemonade)

Homemade flatbreads with anchovy butter & pickled za’atar; whipped feta, tomato chilli jam & dukkah

Charcoal doner kebab of lamb, chopped salad, tahini, harissa (or falafel for vegetarians)

Cornish mackerel, vine leaves, walnut tarator, cabbage salad

Chicken kofte, labneh, peas, asparagus, orange & pistachios

Grilled onions, toasted sesame, pomegranate & turnip juice

Charred cauliflower, falafel spice , pickled za’atar & green tahini

Grilled red pepper and aubergine salad with yoghurt & chilli butter

Tickets (£60 each, inclusive of all food, an aperitivo)
Saturday sittings: 1pm, 5.30pm, 8.30pm
Sunday sittings: 1pm, 5pm, 7.30pm
