A festive supper with just a hint of Almodovar…

Shopping for Christmas needn’t leave you on the verge of a nervous breakdown! For two nights only – 4th and 5th December – favourite London restaurant, Moro, is guesting at north London vintage emporium, Possessed N1, to create an alternative festive supper club experience where delicious food meets glamorous shopping.

Celebrating all things bright, beautiful, and bountiful, these glamorous supper soirées will be a nod to the food of Spain and the kitsch and glamour of Pedro Almodovar’s movies, offering up a delicious four course supper in the unique setting of Tania Rowling’s shop, nestled in Islington’s famous Chapel Market.

Moro’s bejewelled dishes will be served at themed tables, dressed with 50s and 60s crockery and objets, in Rowling’s shop-come-home; what could be more satisfying than Chestnut and Chorizo Soup in a Midwinter bowl, flanked by a porcelain bull?!

Sated by dishes including: Sea Bass Ceviche with Seville Orange and Cumin; Duck Fattee; Chickpea Pilav and Pistachios; and Moro’s classic Sherry Trifle, diners will be surrounded by a cornucopia of one-off gifts, all available for purchase: ladies’ and gents’ apparel that wouldn’t be out of place in Almodovar’s Volver; vintage ladies’ scarves emblazoned with matadors and flamenco dancers of a bygone era; and period cocktail shakers and glasses, perfect for the festive season – all available to try and purchase between courses.

Dinner will be cooked by Samantha and Samuel Clark and the evening will be hosted by Tania Rowlings.

Bookings
Tickets £50.00 each and include a four course dinner and a complimentary glass of Pomegranate Cava.

Wine will be available for purchase on the night.
